### Why is blockchain secure?

Blockchain is the foundation of the GetRealty platform, ensuring secure ownership, transparent transactions, and resistance to fraud. Unlike traditional databases, blockchain is decentralized and cryptographically protected, making it one of the most secure systems available today.

### Key security features of blockchain

1. **Transparency without compromising privacy**
   * Every transaction (token purchases, votes, transfers) is publicly recorded and verifiable.
   * No personal data is exposed — only wallet addresses are visible.
   * This ensures full traceability while maintaining anonymity.
2. **Distributed data storage**
   * Data is not stored in one central server.
   * It is distributed across thousands of nodes globally.
   * Even if one node fails or is attacked, the system remains fully operational and secure.
3. **Immutability**
   * Once data (like token ownership) is recorded on the blockchain, it cannot be changed or deleted.
   * This ensures that your rights to revenue are permanent, verifiable, and protected.

### Why does GetRealty request personal information?

Although blockchain protects your digital assets, compliance with international financial regulations and investor safety require identity verification through a one-time KYC (Know Your Customer) process.

### Why is KYC needed?

   * KYC ensures compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions laws.

3. **Legal recognition of rights**
   * Since the legal ownership of properties remains with GetRealty, your verified identity ensures your rights to:
     * A share of the property’s net rental income and capital gains.
     * Receipt of income and legal protections.

### Is my personal data safe?

Yes. GetRealty follows strict data security and privacy standards:

* All documents and information are encrypted.
* Data is used once during KYC and is never reused or shared.
* Stored in compliance with GDPR and EU data protection laws.
* Never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
